UK's Top 5 Platformer Android Games in Q1 2024: An Analysis

The first quarter of 2024 has been an eventful period for platformer games on Android in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's data provides us with an insight into how the top five games in this category have fared during this time.

Stumble Guys saw a fluctuating trend in downloads starting from 10K in the first week of January, peaking at 11K mid-January, and then experiencing a dip to 5K in March. Its weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting strong at 62K and declining to 55K towards the end of March. Despite a mid-quarter dip, revenues also showed resilience, averaging around $5K per week.

Triathlon HK's Doomsday Shelter: Survival experienced a steady revenue growth from $3K at the start of January to nearly $5K by the end of February, before witnessing a drop to $2.8K by the end of March. Download figures, however, showed a decline from 2K to just over 400, with weekly active users starting at 25K and ending the quarter at around 23K.

Geometry Dash by RobTop Games showed a more challenging quarter, with revenues dipping from $3.6K to below $1K. Downloads and weekly active users both saw a decreasing trend throughout the quarter, with downloads falling from 1.3K to 650 and active users from 35K to 27K.

Nintendo Co., Ltd.'s Super Mario Run had a varied first quarter, with a notable increase in downloads from 3K to over 6K by the quarter's end. Active users saw an upturn in March, ending at 22K after a low of 17K in early February. Revenue figures remained modest, peaking at $914 in the last week of March.
